ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN:
During November each year Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces in the UK and around the world. The aim of which is to raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men. This year Lady Greys have decided to put a team together which everyone is welcome to join, and whether you can grow a beer strainer or bum fluff we shall wear them proud and support our brothers in the war on cancer. On a lighter note it’s a great fun way to raise money for charity so we have jumped on the ever growing bandwagon and shall adorn the tache for the sacred month of MOVEMBER.
To celebrate Movember and for a chance for everyone to meet the team we’re holding two parties, or ‘Mo Downs’:
SHAVE DOWN PARTY: 31st of October – 7.00pm
Hosted by our Mo Bro’s at The Boiler House Barbers, Jesmond, this party marks the start of Movember. Every member of our team can get a free shave from a team of professional barbers and once everyone is clean shaven we’ll be taking photos to capture the ‘before’ shot and you can meet your fellow Lady Greys Mo Bro’s.
Mo Sista’s are encouraged to come and we’ll have lots of Movember Merchandise for you to wear proudly to show your support for the cause. You can also sign up to the team on the night so bring as many Bro’s as you can find, the mo’ the merrier.
MO DOWN: 30th of November – 7.00pm
Held in our very own Lady Greys Bar to celebrate everyone’s tache growing efforts. It will be a huge celebration of everyones efforts with prizes for the Best Mo, Best Mo Bro & Mo Sista Combo, Miss Movember and Man of Movember. Pictures will be taken and uploaded to our website for voting purposes, after 14 days the votes will be counted and the winner will receive a bottle of Fine Gentleman’s Sipping Whiskey and be displayed on our website for all to see his fine victory. The pictures of all the partcipating Mo Bros will be put onto the back of our Vedette bottles to display the home grown skills of the Lady Greys Team.
